Introduction to FQL Processing

The filter functionality is powered by our proprietary Feedback Query Language (FQL) which processes complex requests in order for you to make simple searches.

Locating the Filter button

The Filter powered by FQL can be found in:

  • The Live feed page

  • The dashboard

  • The report page

  • Editing a segment

  • Editing a custom dashboard view

  • Editing report charts .

Making a search

Choose your filter

You can choose over 15 selectors to filter your feedback data, allowing you to choose between a wide view of your feedback, or something more precise.

Our most used filters by our clients are time period, attribute, and survey

Each operator page is different and dependent on the filter you’ve selected.

Most filters allow you to stack values together should you need to filter multiple values at once.

Save your searches as segments

Segments allow you to create cohorts of your feedback data. You can find your segments in the search button under the tab Segment

You can add a relationship between each filter so the values apply if A and B and C conditions are met or A or B or C conditions are met
