Blog from September, 2019

☀ The sun is out, and it’s surely the last day of Summer over here. 🌇
To signify such an occasion, we have a huge release, just 7 weeks since our last major update (1.3).

As an overview, we’ve: Added sections to the questions category; Added the ability to send recurring email and SMS campaigns; Added a mailchimp integration and revamped the dashboard. Read on to find out more:

Utilise sections to help create the ultimate Feedback Carrier

  • Questions - An important part of any Feedback Carrier, but what if you need to group them together? Introducing: Questions sections. Group questions and conditions together, making it easier to see how your questions will look. 🧙🏾‍♀️

  • Now when opening a modal, text is anchored to the first text field: Faster entries = A happier user! 🧲

  • Speaking of text fields, you can now use semi-colon’s to separate between options in the choice and options Question Type.

  • We’ve added a search function in the Feedback section. Search through the data you need at a glance.

  • EXPORTS - we’ve heard your call, and we’re making changes week-by-week. As part of the 1.4.0 release you can now download a segment straight to browser for entries under 500. ⏬

  • Need to send lots of emails/SMS to your participants? We’ve got you covered. We’ve built in a scheduling platform so you can manage multiple campaigns, and even set them to recur automatically. Built in with Mailchimp functionality.✍🏾 📨

Create custom scheduled messages, and group prospective participants into clear and consistent campaigns

  • Huuuh huuuh haaa. 🐒 Stop monkeying around and start using Mailchimp. Not only have we added integrations over our brand-new email/sms campaigns, but once a user in your audience includes their email in a Feedback Carrier, you’ll receive a note, and any segment they’re associated to will be tagged on their contact page in Mailchimp. Who said monkeying around wasn’t productive? 🐵

Get tags and notes from a completed Feedback Carrier straight to your Mailchimp contact page
  • More permissions to the creator - Create a team, and know that only you have full admin privileges to add and remove users. Rest easy.🛌🏾

  • Changes to the dashboard! We’ve streamlined the dashboard by removing the bottom part with all the tags, and reduced the navigation bar, giving you more space to roam around the world of Feedier.

  • Changed Reports → Data Insights 📊

  • Improved display of ratings in the Data Insights section ⭐

  • As always, numerous bug fixes. 🧯 🐛

What you can expect from us in the next two months:

  • A brand-new landing page

  • Improved quality of exports

  • Dashboard mobile version

  • Better templates

  • Better conditions with question blocks and action.

  • A lot of improvements and fewer bugs (smile)

Time flies. Already September and here is Feedier version 1.3.3, coming out with a 1-day delay due to our team spending more time testing new features. Which is not a bad idea. This release covers no less than 27 tasks, including:

  • Internet explorer support down to IE9. It will work for both the Dashboard and the form side.

  • The Engager widget tab has been re-designed with a live preview and we added two new attributes: data-skip-intro and data-init.

  • We replaced all in-app tutorials with fresh new videos ⏯ → Faster and way more clear (smile)

  • 10 feature presentation boxes have been in the app to explain clearly: ratings, segments, rewards, engagements, custom fields, authentication… 🕶 A lot of explanations in the Dashboard have been updated.

  • The URL Settings tab has been re-designed with more details.

  • We improved the Images question type to better support large images.

  • We fixed a bug with the custom fields where they were not displayed if there was a reward and they were displayed but not required 🐛

  • 10+ bugs have been fixed in that release.

What’s coming next week (Feedier 1.4.0):

  • Better Slack integration

  • Mailchimp integration

  • Question sections
