Blog from October, 2024

We are excited to introduce three improvements in the Feedier Report within this release!🎉

Report Cover Options

This feature enhancement provides more control, customisation, and professional polish to your reports, empowering you to create visually attractive reports.

How it works:

The cover page now is also editable, in the configuration section you will have several templates to enhance the cover design.

Just click on the cover page and you will see the templates on your right.

Report Creation Flow

In this update, we’ve simplified the report creation by removing the initial naming modal for new reports, making it faster and easier to start working on your content. Now, when creating a new report, you’ll enter directly into the editing view with a pre-set, default name and type, reducing extra steps and enhancing efficiency.

New reports now open immediately with the name “Untitled Report” and the type “Public.” This removes the need to name the report upfront, so you can start working on content right away.

If you’re creating a report based on a Master template, the selection modal remains in place. This allows you to specify the master report you want to create the report from.

Benchmark new Configuration

Our latest update brings significant improvements to the benchmarking component within reports. This update focus on simplifying the setup process.

What’s New in Benchmarking?

  1. Removed Chart Type Selection: We’ve eliminated the chart type input to simplify the configuration steps.

  2. Breakdown by “1 v 1” Option: The “filter vs filter” benchmarking option is now in the breakdown options.

We are excited to announce an upcoming enhancement to our platform. This advanced module is designed to simplify and automate repetitive tasks on our platform, allowing you to streamline processes such as generating reports and sharing them on a recurring basis.

The first iteration contains the creation of reports, but in the neat future we will have more actions and recurrences.

Composition of the module

Feature Breakdown

  1. Autopilot Table:

    • The table will display the list of workflows you and your team have created displaying relevant data about each workflow.

We are excited to introduce improvements to Feedier Reports and Text Analysis in this release!🎉 🎉

Text Answers Table

We are excited to announce several improvements to the Text Answer Table component in Feedier Reports, aimed at making text answers more readable when you download reports. These enhancements are designed to address limitations where tooltips used for truncated answers were not available in the downloaded versions, causing difficulty for users to access the full responses.

Key Improvements

  • Display 5 Rows of Answers Instead of 10:

    • The number of rows displayed in the text answer table has been reduced from 10 to 5 rows, to make possible the increase of character limit.

  • Pagination Update:

    • The number of pages displayed per component has been increased to 10 pages to maintain the display of 50 text answers per component, ensuring you can still access the same amount of data.

  • Increased Character Limit:

    • The maximum number of characters per text answer has been raised from 50 to 200 characters in reports. This allows you to see longer portions of text answers without needing a tooltip.

Screenshot 2024-10-16 at 10.58.06.png
  • New Checkbox for Sentiment Score Column:

    • A new checkbox has been added to allow users to hide/show the sentiment score column.

    • By default, this checkbox is selected, meaning the sentiment score will be displayed unless you choose to hide it.

  • New Checkbox for Hiding Text Questions:

    • A second checkbox gives you the option to hide text questions and only display the answers.

    • By default, this checkbox is not selected.

    • When the checkbox is activated:

      • The questions column is hidden.

      • The text answers expand to fill the space where the questions were.

      • The maximum text answer length increases to 400 characters, ensuring more detailed answers are visible.

Screenshot 2024-10-16 at 10.59.36.png
  • Prefilled Report Flow:

    • For prefilled reports, the following changes apply:

      • Each question will have its own table in the report.

      • The table title will match the question name.

      • If two questions have the same name, they will be merged into one table.

      • By default, the questions column will be hidden, displaying only the text answers.

Drag and Drop Improvement

The drag-and-drop function for rearranging pages in the report builder was limited to only the pages displayed within the visible area of the page section. This made it difficult to move pages to positions far beyond the current view, especially in reports with many pages. To address this, we have added automatic scrolling while dragging pages.

Key Improvements

  • Auto-Scrolling for Drag-and-Drop:

    • When dragging a page to the top or bottom of the visible list, the page list will now automatically scroll up or down, allowing you to move pages beyond the currently visible section.

    • This feature enables smoother and more efficient reordering of pages in reports with a large number of entries.

  • Improved Usability for Large Reports:

    • You can now move pages from the bottom of the list to the top (and vice versa) without having to manually scroll or break the drag-and-drop process.

    • The page being dragged will remain "grabbed" and visible, ensuring clarity on where it is positioned in the list as you scroll.

  • Compatible with Long Reports:

    • This improvement is particularly useful for reports containing more than 20 pages, where manual scrolling was previously required before dragging.

Search Responses in Text Analysis

This improvement simplifies the process of finding key information without the need to use the filters, offering a more intuitive and efficient user experience.

Previously, users could only search specific words or phrases within text responses by utilizing the Filters, which could be cumbersome, especially when dealing with single topic views. As part of our continuous effort to improve usability, we’ve added a search input directly within the text response tables.

We are excited to introduce our new UX of the Filters and the new Org pages in this release!🎉 🎉

New UX on Filters

We are introducing an update to our filters that enhances the way AND and OR logical operators work when applying multiple filters. This improvement ensures that the logical operators apply correctly to the relationship between filters, creating more accurate and consistent results.

The logical operator step to choose between AND and OR is removed.

screen_2.jpg

How It Works:

  1. Adding Filters:

    • When you add a filter, the system automatically applies an AND relation between it and any subsequent filters.

  2. Changing the Relation:

    • If you prefer to apply an OR relation between two filters, you can click on the operator between the filters to toggle it from AND to OR.

    • The chosen operator will then apply to the relationship between the two filters.

Sentiment Score new Filter

We are glad to introduce a new filtering option for Sentiment Score. This improvement will enhance you with the ability to filter feedback based on sentiment analysis results, making it easier to target specific feedback types (positive, neutral, or negative) across the platform.

Screenshot 2024-10-08 at 11.49.45.png
  • New Filter Option: Sentiment Score

    • You will now see Sentiment Score as a selectable filter.

  • Operators:

    • The following operators will be available for Sentiment Score:

      • Equals

      • Does not equal

  • Selection Process:

    • You can select one or more of the sentiment score options (Positive, Neutral, Negative) at the same time.

    • If more than one option is selected, the relation between them will default to an "OR" relation. This means the system will return feedback that matches any of the selected sentiment scores.

Example Flow

  1. Scenario:

    • You have 3 feedback entries:

      • Feedback A: Text answer with Positive sentiment

      • Feedback B: Text answer with Negative sentiment

      • Feedback C: One Text answer with Positive and one text answers with Negative sentiment

  2. User Action:

    • You filter by Sentiment Score = Positive.

  3. Expected Result:

    • Feedback A and C will be displayed, as both contain positive sentiment.

As the Filter works at a feedback level you will see the negative text answer from Feedback C displayed.

Thanks
