To streamline feedback collection, businesses can incorporate the initial survey question right into their emails. This approach enhances recipient engagement and provides real-time insights. Here's the purpose and process :

Capture the Question

Screenshot and slice

Actions → Screenshot Tool → Capture & Slice

To start off, you'll need to capture an image of the question you wish to embed. Use the screenshot tool to:

  1. Capture the question.

  2. Slice the image into clickable blocks, especially if it's a satisfaction scale question ranging from 1 to 5

Assign Direct Feedback Links to Each Image Block

Actions → Survey Link → Add Question ID & Value

For a seamless experience:

  1. Assign the base survey link to each image block.

  2. Modify the link to include the question ID and the associated response value. For example, a satisfaction scale response with a rating of 1 would have the link: https://feedback.feedier.com/2qTQQQ?question_id=1365689&value=1

Change the “question_id” and “value=?” with your question details

Email integration

Embed & Ensure Clickability in the Email

Actions → Email Editor → Insert Image Blocks

As you compose your email:

  1. Embed each image block within the email body.

Crtl + K is a shortcut used to embed links to images

  1. Test to ensure each image block redirects to the correct feedback link.

Test it through a personal email before sending

Send the Email

Actions → Email Platform → Send

Once everything is set:

  1. Review the email for correctness.

  2. Send it out to your recipients.

By embedding the first survey question directly within an email, you're not only simplifying the process but also increasing the chances of garnering vital insights.
