Benchmark Graphs in Dashboard

You often need to compare more than two filters or breakdowns in a single visual to identify trends and make faster decisions. Until now, this wasn’t possible in Dashboards due to the KPI component limitation. To address this, we're bringing the Benchmark Component — previously available only in Reports — into the Dashboard experience.

🚀 What’s New?

✅ Add Benchmarking to Dashboards
You can now create benchmark charts directly from your Dashboard to visualize and compare up to 10 different values over time.

✅ Multi-Filter Comparison Over Time
Break free from the 2-filter limit of KPIs. Use the benchmark component to track trends for multiple segments, teams, topics, and more — all in one view.

✅ Predefined Timeline
Timeline is mandatory and pre-selected — this ensures a consistent time-based visual (line chart).

✅ Streamlined UI
No quick add, no annotation, and a cleaner interface adapted for Dashboard usage.

🔑 How It Works

1️⃣ Add Benchmark to Dashboard

• Go to your Activity (Dashboard) page.

• Click “Add” and choose the new Benchmark option.

2️⃣ Configuration Setup

• Choose your benchmarking type:

  • Attribute

  • Segment

  • Survey

  • Team

  • Question

  • Topic

• Default breakdown is the most used favourite Attribute or most used overall if no favourite exists..

3️⃣ Limitations to Keep It Insightful

• Maximum 10 values per breakdown (instead of 50).

• Timeline is always enabled — “No timeline” is not allowed.

• No annotations to keep the chart clean and focused.
